this was done for a potential client found on Craiglist. He wanted a blood hound to be attacked by rottweilers. this could have been a real fun and complicated illustration; i could have really gone to town on this. however, the "client" soon disappeared, as they all do from Craigslist. Greg keeps emailing to this website for me and i keep telling him it is a waste of time! these people want quality stuff for nothing!

"Never work for strangers over the internet."
hahaha, okay V. Now i really feel like a shmuck!
I didn't mean it as a put-down. I'd never work for anyone "out of the blue". There's no accountability in it. I'll bet your "invisible client" is using your pencil sketch as finished art, just the way you sent it to him.
Heck, they can pull art right off our blogs and use them!
Scary thought.
v, i never took it as a putdown. i never take stuff on the blog too seriously.
They may be able to use the concepts. but as artists, we all run that risk. anyone can swipe anything at anytime. If you are an artist, you assume the risk.
the client said he needed several illustrations for a book, and to find someone else to copy that style would not be easy. he would more likely use the concept and have someone redraw it.
I did have fun drawing and it was a good exercise.
