Update: After dinner painting. Will work on hair next.

I'm almost done with the girl with the blue hair. All I have to do is finish the background color and I can do that at work. I'm really getting better with the glazing on skin tones-a HUGE breakthrough! The other is an underpainting and I just did this much in about 15 minutes. If you saw me painting, literally I must have looked like a cartoon; paint flying around in a blur!

Color Pallette (This is for my info because I probably will not be able to finish this one tonight): Flesh: Diox purple, umber, raw sienna, touch of cad orange hue for warmer flesh. Hair: Deep Magenta, diox purple, cad red med.

Working on: I should be able to finish this this weekend or close to it. I have not been blogging since every artist knows that Holidays just kill your time. It's a rare weekend in that daughter and hubby are still in the Bay Area and so I have been doing some freelance, drawing for work and finally working on a graphic novel called LeoPardine!
